Archive context

Methodology

How this archive selects, reviews, and presents public interview records.

Methodology

Interview Records is a public archive of interviews with people in leadership, technology, business, policy, and culture.

What we include

  • Publicly available interviews, talks, or long-form conversations.
  • Sources with stable links and clear publication context.
  • Enough metadata to identify the record: date, participants, source, format, and summary.

What we do not include

  • Paywalled content we cannot verify directly.
  • Private recordings, leaked materials, or unpublished transcripts.
  • Duplicate uploads where no new source context is added.

How records are reviewed

  • We check source links and publication metadata before adding records.
  • We track coverage status by person so gaps are visible.
  • We document known gaps when we find missing interviews.

Rights and transcript display

  • We always link to original sources.
  • Transcript display follows rights settings on each interview.
  • Some records are metadata-only or excerpt-only, even when full transcripts exist elsewhere.

Corrections

If you spot an error, please open an issue in the project repository with the source link and correction details.
